Additional Information
Gaumard Scientific is a woman-owned small business that designs, manufactures, and sells industry-leading simulation-based healthcare workforce training solutions to hospitals, universities, emergency medical services, and military services worldwide. Gaumard products are sold in over 70 countries through a network of direct sales and authorized distributors. Gaumard is headquartered in Miami, FL where it manufactures and services its portfolio of over 350 products.
Gaumard was founded by a World War II trauma physician and has been in business since 1946. The founder first created a synthetic bone to aid battlefield surgery and soon developed the company's first product, a synthetic human skeleton used to replace the use of actual human skeletons in medical training programs.
Gaumard's product launch timeline reflects the company's unwavering commitment to innovation. In 2000, Gaumard launched the revolutionary family of NOELLE® maternal and neonatal care simulators that changed how training is conducted. In 2004, Gaumard pioneered the use of fully tetherless technology by introducing the family of HAL® simulators. In 2014, the company introduced VICTORIA®, its most advanced maternal and neonatal care simulator, as part of the NOELLE family. In 2017, Gaumard introduced Super TORY®, the first newborn simulator developed to meet the challenges of neonatal care specialists training in real environments. Pediatric HAL®, the world's most advanced pediatric patient simulator and the first capable of simulating lifelike emotions through dynamic facial expressions, movement, and speech, was launched in 2018.
Gaumard features a professional territory sales team laser-focused on solving customer needs. Additionally, Gaumard Field Service Technicians are strategically located throughout the US to provide customers with expedited onsite product service. Both teams are committed to providing the best possible service in the most efficient and timely manner.
Gaumard offers product training at our Miami, FL or Waco, TX locations. We offer varying levels of product training to meet the user's needs. The Gaumard Training Program covers patient simulator and software operation for our maternal and neonatal simulators, adult simulators, and pediatric simulators.
Webinar-based training can be accessed by as many attendees as needed. We offer live courses like "Getting to Know UNI Software" and "Scenario Building". You can also learn to work with specific simulators and how to operate them, whether you own those or not.
Gaumard offers onsite product installation and service. A Gaumard Service Technician will unbox and install your simulator(s) and host product training for your team. The in-services are scheduled at your convenience.
Gaumard has been family-owned and operated for over 75 years. Our mission is to empower healthcare with innovative training solutions that will accelerate progress toward safer patient care and improved patient outcomes for everyone.
