Summer programs are available for ages 13-adult. They include homestay immersion, camps, and ESL courses.

Curriculum Description:

Students are placed in schools with a variety of courses to choose from including AP and Honors classes.

Admissions:

J1 Visa Programs do not include any additional admissions requirements other than the program.
F1 Visa Programs may be subject to the addtional requirements of the private school
Summer programs have very few admission requirements

Program Highlights:

At Terra Lingua USA each student in our program becomes a part of our family. As a small organization, we know you by name, not number. We take our responsibility to you seriously but you must also take your program success seriously. It is up to you to make the most of your program.

Academic Requirements:

To be successful, we suggest a minimum GPA of a B and prefer no grades lower than a C in your current year. Private schools may have different expectations.
There are no academic requirements for short term or summer programs

Travel Arrangements:

Travel arrangements are made by the student with input from TLUSA and the host family to ensure an itinerary that is good for all.

Visa Requirements:

The J1 Visa is needed for the public school program.
The F1 Visa is needed for the private school program
The F1 or Tourist visa is needed for the short term programs
The tourist visa is needed for the summer programs

Trips:

During the academic year programs we offer excursions and activities monthly for the VIP program. We also offer a spring break trip for all academic students regardless of progam type.
Excursions and activities during the summer programs are at host family discretion
