Tourist Visa, payable at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or the nearest consular at your country

90 Days Visa and with extension of another 3 months

Program Highlights:

 The volunteer will be picked up from the airport. There after he/she will be placed at a hotel/hostel for the night or day depending on the arrival time.

Orientation will take place the next day and the volunteer will be briefed about the program objective, location, where to stay, local and traditional customs, dos and don'ts, safari, payment of program fee and other useful information

The volunteer will travel together with the official, to the program location

Curriculum Highlights:

 The curriculum will be based on the Kenyan 8-4-4 system,

The volunteer will have this information ant the school and also another orientation will take place at the school, to introduce the volunteer to the other teachers, curriculum on various subjects.

The volunteer will be teaching jointly with an expereinced teacher for a specific duration of time before given a class.

Program Information:

 The volunteer will be teaching in rural and urban schools, the prospective volunteer will assisted by a teacher in learning the Kenyan curriculum.

The volunteer will be teaching approximately 40-50 students in one class, the volunteer will use English as the medium of education.
