Vocal Precision Studio accepts students from a wide range of vocal skills. Whether novice or professional, each students receives personal undivided attention and instruction. The lessons are geared to the individual need of the student and the desired music genre they wish to sing.

Education/Awards: I posses a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts and a Masters of Science in Special Education with a concentration in the instruction of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I have been induced inti several Marquis Who's Who publications, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the West, Who's Who in American Women, and Who's Who in the World.
Private Teaching Experience: I am a Member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and have been teaching for over 20 years in New York, California and North Carolina. I incorporate my academic knowledge with that of my years of personal performance experience into my instruction to better assist the student in their musical communication through clear diction and pronunciation. Additionally, I work with corporate clients in their need to communicate with confidence, clarity and conviction. Actors also find my instruction helpful as they learn to project their voices without strain and discomfort.
Performance Credentials: I am a regular featured soloist with the North Carolina Symphony and Durham Symphony. I received a scholarship to travel to Europe with the Assisi Performing Arts Festival the summer of 2011 and have performed and/or recorded with renown artists such as Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston and others. While living in California, I was a featured soloist at Robert Schuller's Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, CA. When not teaching, I continue to perform in concert throughout the country. My acting career includes film, television, stage and commercials to include projects such as General Hospital, Matlock, Nightmare on Elm Street and others.
Mission Statement:

To provide excellent service and to assist all those who are serious about their journey to the next step in their vocal development and advancement of their musical careers.

Philosophy/Belief Statement:

I believe if one has the mind, desire, determination and discipline to work hard, they are capable of accomplishing anything in life. As it applies to singing, it is also true. I am a living witness to that fact. Ask me about it, I would more than happy to share my story.
