Volunteer projects and internship opportunities with Travellers Worldwide provide an opportunity to take education outside of the traditional classroom setting. For 16 years, Travellers Worldwide has been providing students and adults with volunteer projects and internships overseas. Join us during a holiday break, a vacation, a gap year, or any time of year that you feel the need to immerse yourself in a new culture and help those in need at the same time! Volunteers use our projects to learn more about themselves before jumping into college, some volunteers find that they need a career break while others explore their intended education career path or maybe even discover their true passions in life. There's a big world out there….it would be a shame to miss it!
Setting: Let KENYA be your classroom! If you are looking for an adventure, this is the place to go! The charming chaos of this country is reflected in the market where you will be able to see the daily routine of so many individuals selling their wares! Around you, there is the incomparable Kenyan landscape of savannas, deserts, highlands and mountains. If you enjoy outdoor activities, this is the place for you! Of course, if you want a bit more adventure during your trip, there are a number of game reserves in the country that will allow you to go on safari and witness the beauty of grandeur of African wildlife. Don't forget your camera and you will no doubt have stories of excitements and explorations to bring home to your family and friends!

There are many volunteer projects and internships available in Kenya! We would be happy to email you further about any listed below!
• Care for Orphans: Very worthwhile and satisfying project, plus good for your personal development and your CV
• Teaching: to children from poorer communities. No qualifications required.
• Sports: Coach swimming to children who, surprisingly, rarely get the opportunity to learn how to swim!
• Medical Work Experience: An excellent project in a poor hospital that caters for a very poor community. You'll gain good work experience here.
• 1-Week Swahili Language Course: Start your time in Kenya with a 1-week language course that will intensify your Kenyan adventure!
