Mission Statement:
The LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation supports and encourages young adults who wish to pursue careers as professional pilots. Flight scholarships are awarded to allow recipients to complete flight training to begin their first step towards becoming a professional pilot - a private pilot's license. The Foundation is also bringing awareness to ethnic minorities and females, who are underrepresented in the field of aviation by providing an Educational Awareness Program to the community for elementary school children.
