Our Mission

Ultimate restroom accessibility

Everyone deserves safe, comfortable accommodation. MAX-Ability curates complete restroom solutions — adjustable changing tables, sinks, toilets, and shower seats — so wheelchair users and caregivers have what they need for full, dignified accommodation.

Since 1993

Founded to solve a real gap — public and school spaces that couldn’t accommodate people who can’t use a standard toilet.

Changing Tables

The right table for every space

MAX-Ability offers a premium range of wall-mounted and free-standing changing tables for schools, daycare centers, clinics, and public facilities — built from durable, cleanable materials and tested for ergonomics and hygiene.

Wall-Mounted

Space-saving fixed and powered tables — the Pressalit 1000/2000/3000 lines, VersaMax, and the American-made Sova Ascent.

Free-Standing & Mobile

VersaMobile electric (MCT3) and manual (MCT5), Armedica Hi-Lo, and family-restroom stations that roll where needed.

Adult & Child Sizes

Adult tables run 71–75″ long; child tables 35–60″. Capacities to 441 lb (Pressalit 1000) and 500 lb (Sova Ascent).

Accessible Bathrooms

Complete the whole room

Beyond the table, MAX-Ability supplies the fixtures that make a restroom fully accessible — and packages them into ready-to-quote kits.

Fixtures

Adjustable, by design

  • Height-adjustable sinks (Custom Flex, Matrix, Custom Plus)
  • Adjustable toilet (440 lb) and shower seat (330 lb)
  • Pressalit grab bars, support arms, and wall tracks
  • Aqua Max shower trolley for full-care bathing

MAX-Ability’s own guidance: choose powered adjustment for multiple users and daily independence, pneumatic-assist for caregiver use, and manual for infrequent adjustment.

Total Restroom Kit

Adult changing table of your choice, plus a height-adjustable sink, an ADA grab-bar set, and paper/soap dispensers.

Streamlined

Essential Restroom Kit

The same complete package, without the sink — add mirrors, extra grab bars, or a baby changing table as needed.

Connect

by Pressalit

An optional monitoring add-on that turns a changing table into a managed asset — especially useful for a district looking after restrooms that aren’t always supervised. It sends four kinds of alert:

Cleaning

An alert after each use tells staff when a table needs attention.

Overload

A real-time notification — with on-site beeping — if a table is overloaded.

Impact

An alert if a table is struck or misused, to help protect the investment.

Prolonged use

A notification if someone remains on the table beyond normal use — useful for unsupervised restrooms.

Connect must be factory-installed with the table (it isn’t a retrofit) and fits the SCT 2000/2100, SCT 3000, and CT 4000/4100 — worth raising at specification time.
Sensory Integration

Calm, focus, and security

MAX-Ability carries Protac’s sensory range, whose stated purpose is to provide deep touch pressure and gentle movement — the brand describes its ball-filled products as promoting body awareness, relaxation, and a sense of security, with uses named for conditions including ADHD, autism, anxiety, and dementia.
