Bridging the gap between potential and performance

A school built for how they learn

Bright students with dyslexia and language-based learning differences don't need less — they need to be taught differently. That's the whole reason The Bridge Academy exists.

Understood

Every student has average or above-average potential — and finally learns in a place that gets how their mind works.

Taught the OG way

100% of our faculty are Orton-Gillingham trained, delivering a structured, multisensory approach in small groups.

Ready for what's next

Students leave with the skills, strategies and confidence to graduate and go on — 100% do.

The Orton-Gillingham Difference

Reading, taught through every sense

Orton-Gillingham teaches language explicitly and multisensorially — engaging sight, sound, movement and touch together so skills actually stick. Tap a channel to see how it works.

Visual

Students see the letters, patterns and word structures — colour-coded cards, mapping and marking make the shapes of language concrete.

Built on the six syllable types — closed, open, vowel-consonant-e, r-controlled, vowel-team and consonant-le — taught in a clear, cumulative sequence.

A Full Curriculum

Every subject, taught for how they learn

The Bridge Academy is a full academic program — not a tutoring center. Language arts, mathematics, science and social studies are all delivered in small, ability-grouped classes so no one gets lost.

The Whole Child

Confidence that reaches beyond reading

Learning differences can chip away at confidence long before a child arrives. Alongside academics, Bridge builds the whole student — through enrichment, the arts, athletics, assessment and a genuinely supportive community.
