Professional Work Setting: I have taught elementary, middle and high school, classes for emotionally disturbed as well as classes for learning disabled students; I have been a resource specialist; my area of focus has been Language Arts (literature, reading, creative and academic writing) |
I work with all students, especially those with ADD or ADHD and Learning Disabilities teaching them structure, strategies, and helping them learn how to follow-through in order to succeed in their academic careers. Students through grade seven receive more tutoring, while older students can benefit at least as much from the Coaching relationship where they have more input into their education and are able to take on more and more responsibility for their own success.
