Major Exhibits
Opening October 2006: "Welcome to the Gate City ," Greensboro at the turn of the 20 th century. Also: Exhibits that feature events such as the Sit Ins of 1960, that showcase local figures First Lady Dolley Madison and popular short story writer O. Henry, and "Through a Collector's Eyes" - Confederate Fire Arms

Exhibits of 06:
Exhibits that highlight the history of Piedmont North Carolina. In addition to all of the above, you'll see exhibits on Transportation, Military History, Native Americans, Pottery, and decorative arts arranged in room settings

Guided Tours are designed to meet NC state curriculum guidelines for Social Studies, inlcude hands on activities, and are offerred to groups of more than 10 students.
