Middlesex University aims to be a global university delivering outstanding higher education. Based in north London , we also have a campus in Dubai and are in partnership with prestigious institutions all over the world. The Middlesex name dates from 1973 with the formation of Middlesex Polytechnic, but the University's origins date back to the 1880s. Today it has national and international reputation as an innovative institution offering an extensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses as well as successful year-long, semester, and summer programmes. With 22,000 students including 5,500 international students from over 130 countries, we are one of the largest universities in the UK . Despite this, each of our three campuses are small enough to be friendly and welcoming and students benefit from big campus facilities with a small campus feel. |
We are pleased to launch our Study Abroad Scholarships for students who apply directly to us for a semester or a year abroad programme. A limited number of £500 scholarships are available to students who apply to study on the semester or year long study abroad programme at Middlesex University for the 2007/2008 academic year. These scholarships will be awarded as a reduction to tuition fee only.

The semester abroad programme has a specialised portfolio of classes from across three academic school areas: Business School , Arts and Education, and Health and Social Sciences. These classes have been hand selected in order to offer a broad range of subjects and disciplines. You can choose to study with us from September to December or January to May. You will be pre-registered for the regular course load of four classes which equates to a recommended 16 US semester credits.
