JAM was created in 1999. It offers activities and programs for students after school, and at Friday Intersessions, and a full summer day schedule Monday - Thursday during June and July.

Program Highlights:

One of our goals is to help teach students in any way possible. We put a different spin on math and reading. Playing games, hands on activities, and physical activities are some of the ways we take math and reading to the next level. We also want the student to be able to ask for academic help if needed.

We try to have activities where students use their math or reading skills. We do a lot of science experiments, building activities. We do a business unit where students form their own business from the ground up and then we have a fair for them to sell their p;roducts. We have a Leaders In Volunteerism group that volunteers in the community. We form a group to host a book fair every year. We have cooking classes, art classes, technology activities, plus physical activities.
