Setting:
Weekly, age appropriate programs usually occurring in after school or evening settings. Programs for boys and girls. Emphasis on character education, physical fitness, duty to God and country, ethical decision making and fun in the outdoors (camping, hiking etc.) Adults serve as mentors and leaders and gradually allow older youth to run program for leadership skill development.
History:
The Boy Scouts of America will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2010. It is the premier youth serving agency in the country with over 3 million members
Program Highlights:
Pinewood Derby for Cub Scouts; Summer day and overnight camp; Pumpkin Festival in October; Merit Badge university at Harvard University; Uniform advancement for all ages

Training for adults, financial assistance
Activities:
Camping, archery, rifle/bb gun shooting, swimming(including lessons), boating, high adventure programs for teens, arts n crafts, community service projects, field trips, weekend family activities
Field Trip Destinations: Various national and international locations as well as local destinations in MA and NH
