Mercer Island Martial Arts has been on Mercer Island Since 1997, we are locally owned and operated. The instructors have Masters Degrees in Psychology and a bachelors degree in psychology as well as being 4 and 5 degree black belts. Our program is like no other after school program.
Program Highlights:
Leadership training, Martial arts training, exercise, time for homework, anti-bully training, confidence, dynamic martial arts training, demonstration style training, specialized coaching training, and much more

Martial Arts After School and Positive Psychology Program
A child will spend about 180 days in school per year. Everyday there will be at least two hours after school that need to be accounted for...that's 360 hours per year that a child is doing what?
Well, that's up to their parents, but what they could be doing is

- Learning how to steer clear of peer pressure
- Building unstoppable self confidence
- Getting into great physical shape
- Learning self defense skills that could save their lives
