Program Information:
The afterschool program has an exciting new design and curriculm this year. Participants will be able to join an afterschool academy. The Academy's are: Performing Arts; Sports and Fitness; and Project Making.
The Performing Arts Academy is divided into four disciplines: acting, dance, musicianship and voice. We will focus on learning musical theatre pieces culminating in a collective performance at the end of the session. We will select a piece and master its performance, giving the children a chance to build stage confidence and develop their triple threat skills.
The Sports and Fitness Academy consist of introduction to basic skills of basketball, football, track as well as fitness and nutrition classes. This academy will help young people understand and create healthy eating habits and exercise.
The Project Making Academy is designed for young people who love arts and craft. It's for our future architects and artist. In December, March and June the group will have art exhibits and/or fairs to display and sell their creations.
