School History: 100 Years of Student Succes: Originally established in 1910, Wolfeboro is and has been exclusively a summer boarding school providing a highly structured, supportive environment for girls and boys entering grades 6 through 12 in an exceptional lakeside setting. With a staff of approximately 100 adults serving a student population of 200 and a class size of 4-6 students, our priorities include the development of effective study habits and skills, including organizational skills, academic accountability, confidence and enthusiasm: the habits of mind conducive to academic success. Our entire academic and non-academic program is designed to support the attainment of individual goals. Courses are offered in all core subject areas for the purpose of review, preview or credit.
Notes/School Information: Students are typically referred to Wolfeboro by educational consultants, guidance counselors, directors of admissions and heads of schools for the following purposes:
