Service Description: The American Council of the Blind of Ohio is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality and equality of life for persons who are blind or visually impaired.
Mission Statement:
The American Council of the Blind of Ohio is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality and the equality of life for persons who are blind or visually impaired. We direct our efforts toward education, information, and other activities designed to enhance the life styles of people who are blind or visually impaired. Our members include persons who are blind, visually impaired, and sighted. We are an affiliate organization of the ACB American Council of the Blind, located in Washington D.C.

Hours of Operation/Schedule: M-F 9 am - 6 pm
Services Offered: Information and referral, education, emotional support, recreational activities, seminars for families
Events: Annual state convention, seminars, winter & summer sports retreats
