Home Educators Association of Virginia (HEAV)
Home Educators Association of Virginia
HEAV is a member-supported, statewide, non-profit homeschool association that operates from a biblical worldview. HEAV serves all homeschoolers and since 1983 has worked tirelessly to promote and protect homeschool interests in Virginia through information, legislation, and resources. Among many other things, HEAV offers a FREE magazine and e-newsletter containing up-to-date information and encouragement for homeschool families. They also offer one of the largest homeschool conventions in the country, a gigantic used curriculum sale, a statewide graduation ceremony, and more! With a full-time office staff and hundreds of dedicated volunteers, they’re ready to answer questions, offer support, and serve your needs--just give them a call at 804-278-9200 or send an e-mail message to info@heav.org.
