Membership to our organization is free and open to the pulic, though we prefer that persons are paid members of the International OCD Foundation, which is located in Boston, MA.  We have quarterly meetings in New Brunswick that are free and open to the public and usually feature a New Jersey mental health professional who speaks about OCD topics and takes questions from the audience, a major brunch/conference on the last Sunday of October in Somerset, NJ which features well published and internationally known mental health specialists in the research and/or treatment of OCD, a quarterly newsletter which updates readers to all the goings on that are relevant to provders of, persons with, or family and friends of someone with OCD, and have a web site which reviews all the above.  We sell DVDs from most of the presentations that we have provided since 1999.  We are involved in special projects, such as going into New Jersey schools and educating faculty about the identification of OCD in the classroom and in the school environment.  We provide information about support groups, general services, and individual practitioners regarding the treatment of OCD.  We offer opportunities for people to put together a support group,  write an article for our newsletter, or for professionals to advertise their services with us.  Please check out our web site at www.NJOCF.org!
