Mission Statement:

The mission of the Renaissance Regional Leadership Charter School is to develop the next generation of outstanding leaders who will be equipped with the academic excellence, self-management skills and character necessary for them to positively influence their world.
American’s public schools exist to provide our young people with a well-rounded educational basis for productive life. At Renaissance Regional Leadership Charter School that is just the beginning, for the vision is to develop young people who will be equipped to not only make a living but make a difference in their world. Peter Drucker, one of America’s foremost non-profit business educators said, “Leadership is lifting a person’s vision to higher sights, the raising of a person’s performance to a higher standard and the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations.”

Therefore, it is the challenge of Renaissance Regional Leadership Charter School to create an educational environment which supports student engagement and empowers all students to identify and utilize their own leadership abilities and gifts. This educational environment introduces students to the values, habits and skills that will serve them well in developing a life-long pursuit of learning and leading. The three strands through which this vision of leadership will be achieved are:
• academic excellence
• self-management and assessment tools
• character development
