Volunteer projects and internship opportunities with Travellers Worldwide provide an opportunity to take education outside of the traditional classroom setting. For 16 years, Travellers Worldwide has been providing students and adults with volunteer projects and internships overseas. Join us during a holiday break, a vacation, a gap year, or any time of year that you feel the need to immerse yourself in a new culture and help those in need at the same time! Volunteers use our projects to learn more about themselves before jumping into college, some volunteers find that they need a career break while others explore their intended education career path or maybe even discover their true passions in life. There's a big world out there….it would be a shame to miss it!

Setting: Let CHINA be your classroom! Our projects are in multiple locations throughout China: Beijing, Ya'an, Yantai, and Yangzhou. The varying fast-paced city life as well as the peaceful country life are aspects of the varying project site options with Travellers Worldwide as you look into travelling and volunteering in China. China is a country full of diverse sites to visit as well as a cuisine that will surprise you! Visit the Army of Terracotta Warriors outside Xi'an , see how long it takes you to walk the Great Wall, explore tropical tribal villages and let the Chinese culture surround you as you immerse yourself in the day to day routines of this country and mingle with the local people of the land.

Program: PROJECTS AVAILABLE IN CHINA…

• Giant Panda Conservation- Unique hands on conservation project with one of the world's most threatened species!
• Teaching English- in Beijing or Yangzhou. No qualifications required!
• Kindergarten Project- Work with enthusiastic (and very cute!) Chinese children from 3-6 in Yangzhou
• Work Experience: Medical, Journalism, Photojournalism, Physiotherapy and Events & Marketing Internships in Beijing
• Mandarin Language Course- Live, eat and breathe Mandarin on a university course in truly Chinese Yantai
• Tai Chi and Chinese Painting Courses in Beijing- This excellent add-on project can be done while you are doing your primary volunteer/internship project. Why not improve your artistic skills at the same time, right?!
