Additional Information:
Volunteer projects and internship opportunities with Travellers Worldwide provide an opportunity to take education outside of the traditional classroom setting. For 16 years, Travellers Worldwide has been providing students and adults with volunteer projects and internships overseas. Join us during a holiday break, a vacation, a gap year, or any time of year that you feel the need to immerse yourself in a new culture and help those in need at the same time! Volunteers use our projects to learn more about themselves before jumping into college, some volunteers find that they need a career break while others explore their intended education career path or maybe even discover their true passions in life. There's a big world out there….it would be a shame to miss it!
Setting: Let GHANA be your classroom! Have you ever wanted to go to Africa and help those in need? Now is your chance! Take this chance to volunteer your time and energy in Ghana at a variety of different projects. The weather in Ghana is as warm as the smiles that will greet you! Much can be said about the beauty of the country landscape, the rustic and real food that will be served, and the bustling but laid-back activity of city life. But nothing can compare to the genuine friendliness of the people that you will meet. This is an incredible chance to be more than a tourist in this country … volunteer with the people of Ghana and you will have memories to cherish for a lifetime!

Referrals: WHAT OUR PARTICIPANTS SAY…
"Absolutely loving Ghana, the place, the people, everything is so good. I don't even feel homesick, which is wicked." ---Ruth Clague, Teaching Placement
"To any volunteers: Ghana is nothing like what you will expect and there is no way of describing it without experiencing it. Don't have any doubts about coming because it is great. The people you meet are all the friendliest and I'm sure you will make friends for life. Teaching is a hard but a very worthwhile experience. The homesickness soon fades, especially when you travel on the weekends - we saw crocodiles on Saturday". --Jessica McAlpine
