Additional Information:

Volunteer projects and internship opportunities with Travellers Worldwide provide an opportunity to take education outside of the traditional classroom setting. For 16 years, Travellers Worldwide has been providing students and adults with volunteer projects and internships overseas. Join us during a holiday break, a vacation, a gap year, or any time of year that you feel the need to immerse yourself in a new culture and help those in need at the same time! Volunteers use our projects to learn more about themselves before jumping into college, some volunteers find that they need a career break while others explore their intended education career path or maybe even discover their true passions in life. There's a big world out there….it would be a shame to miss it!

Setting: Let ZAMBIA be your classroom! The warm air in Zambia will sweep over you as you wake up every morning. The gorgeous fields of flowers will take your breath away as they are some of the best in the world. Of course, the Africa wildlife is a draw for many tourists to come and witness….and the wildlife in Zambia is worth many pictures and memories to bring home. The outdoor activities are plentiful and use the incredible natural landscape of Zambia to the fullest extreme. The cities and the rural towns are home to locals who will welcome you with open arms and genuine smiles…it can't be helped to smile back!

Referrals: WHAT OUR PARTICIPANTS SAY…
"I have always appreciated the fact that you have taken what I or the other volunteers have suggested and tried to make our experience with travellers as enjoyable and as positive as possible. I would definitely recommend this experience to others! There is so much that can be done and the teachers are more than willing to allow volunteers to teach lessons and instruct the children. Also, the school can use all the help they can get. Keep the volunteers coming! I love the place where I am working. I feel that I am making a difference." - Roniel Tessler / Teaching - Zambia

"I taught at a school in Livingstone, Zambia and from the first day I knew I was going to be happy. Every single person from the nursery children right up to the owner of the school gave me an incredibly warm welcome! The children were amazing as they were always attentive and willing to learn, which made it so much easier for someone with no teaching experience whatsoever! Every child, whether in the classroom or outside doing P.E gave everything, which was really refreshing to see. The relationship I formed with the children and teachers made it hard to leave but at the same time makes me determined to return." - Hamish Brown / Teaching - Zambia
