Program Highlights:
- Volunteers get to teach, live and learn in Cambodia.
- Experience the warm and friendly Cambodian people and their delicious food
- Volunteers will learn to bridge the cultural gap and teach English to children who can use it to build a better future for themselves, their family and their country.
- A two day orientation is provided at the VAC office to prepare Volunteers for their work and the local culture
- The VAC Program staff is always availible to assist you
Additional Information:
The Volunteer Action for Cambodia (VAC) program places volunteers in a variety of schools and orphanages in Cambodia for the purpose of teaching English. Age ranges and English skill vary greatly depending on the placement. It is a challenging yet rewarding experience where volunteers can learn as much as they teach.
Setting:
Volunteers are placed in small schools and orphanages in both urban and rural areas around Cambodia.
