Mission Statement:
AIDS Walk is a Los Angeles tradition--a celebration of commitment and determination in the face of a crushing epidemic. Last year’s Walk raised a record breaking $3.9 million! This year, more than 25,000 people will join together on Sunday, October 17, 2010 to raise crucial funds for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) and other local AIDS service organizations.

Saturday, September 11 or September 25: Canvassing at L.A. Live from 5-8pm.
Help us register new walkers and volunteers at Los Angeles' premiere entertainment venue. If you are interested please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at duyent@aidswalk.net or (213) 201-9255.
Thursday, October 14 from 11-4pm or Friday, October 15 from 9:30-3:30pm: Pack and Prep
Help us load all of our materials onto our trucks and prepare for the big event. Some heavy lifting is required. If you are interested please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at duyent@aidswalk.net or (213) 201-9255.
Saturday Lunch Prep: Saturday, October 16 from 9-2pm.
Make bag lunches for the over 2,000 volunteer lunches the day before the event. If you are interested please register online HERE or contact the Volunteer Coordinator at duyent@aidswalk.net or (213) 201-9255.
Saturday Set Up: Saturday, October 16 from 9-5pm.

"Cocktail Hour"/Phone Banking: EVERY Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:30-8:30pm.
Help us prepare for the walk by stamping cards, assembling supplies, preparing mailings and additional clerical work. Feel free to bring friends and family. Or put your shining personality to use and help us call past participants to see if they would like to register again this year. Dinner is served and parking is free.
