Mission Statement:
Bags not Rags' mission is to eventually ensure that no child in foster care ever uses a trash bag as luggage again.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Every 24 hours over 800 children enter foster care in the US. Most of these children are given TRASH BAGS to place their belongs in. This is something we want to STOP. Help us do this. Join our Cause.
Program History:
We began in Shreveport, La in June of 2010 and have grown to 13 states across the nation in the matter of 6 short months.
