Mission Statement:
The mission of the Cape Fear Volunteer Center is to build and maintain an organization capable of meeting the needs of the non-profit community. We will provide trained volunteers, resources and processes that stimulate effective solutions for the New Hanover County area.
Program History:
In 1997 the Cape Fear Volunteer Center got a foot hold as a service provided by the Cape Fear Area United Way, in 2005 a volunteer took it out and made it into a non-profit. Now with an office, a board of directors, and many programs this Hands on Network Affiliate, exists to match volunteers to local agencies and is the home to Big Buddy, Kids Voting, Kids Care Clubs, and so much more. If you desire to Find Time, Make Time and Give Time check out 1800volunteer.org and give us a call we will help you find your place to give of yourself.
