Mission Statement:
We provide toy-filled birthday gift bags to shelters and food shelves so that less fortunate parents can give their child a birthday gift.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
We believe this simple gesture boosts self-esteem, enhances self-worth and strengthens bonds in economically disadvantaged families.
Program History:
Since 1994, we have provided birthday gift bags to 317,000 less fortunate children.

Additional Information:
Volunteers must form their own group (corporate, civic, school, church, family, etc.) and provide gift bags and small new toys which are then assembled into gift bags at your location. When done, take them to a food shelf or shelter in your community and let us know how many bags you filled and where you took them (contact karen@cheerfulgivers.org).
