Mission Statement:
To champion the connection of needed community resources with schools and other sites to help young people successfully learn, stay in school, and prepare for life.

Program History:
During the summer of 2006, Communities in Schools of Forsyth County became a 501 (c) 3 Non Profit Agency. At this time we were able to provide and expand many programs to youth throughout the county. CISFC programs include : After School Tutoring Programs, Mentoring, Course Recovery, Counseling, Graduation Coaching, and College Application Assistance. Other resources include Gang Prevention/ Intervention sessions, Computer Literacy, and Health and Wellness Programs. Parents are encouraged to participate in mediation conferences, counseling, computer literacy,and parenting courses.
