Program History:

CRCs started in 1996 with one computer lab in a New York City Recreation Center. As demand grew, so did the number of Recreation Centers housing a Computer Resource Center. There are now nearly 30 CRCs throughout New York City's five boroughs, including 15 staffed with skilled technology educators.

Additional Information:

Volunteers can teach computer or multimedia classes, monitor open access hours, or conduct outreach within the local community on behalf of one of 15 CRCs citywide. Please see website for a list of locations.
