Grades and scores are important, but universities and employers are looking for more. We invite motivated students looking for a meaningful travel experience to consider EF International Language Schools’ Language Service program.
Program History:
EF Education First was founded in 1965 in Sweden by the entrepreneur Bertil Hult. His concept was simple: students to travel to England in order to learn English. Now days students travel all over the world to learn many languages!
Events:
Our Community Service and Language Travel programs are begin at just one week - or you can stay for a year! Travel during your next school break, a summer program, or a gap year abroad. Our programs begin on almost every monday of the year and you can stay for as long as you'd like.
Additional Information:
A global classroom
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced language learner, EF has the right level for you. Our classrooms are led by experienced teachers who encourage learning through communicative lessons and group projects. Your learning will extend beyond the classroom as you eat, sleep and truly live the local language.
Lend a hand in the community
After your daily language courses you will put your new skills to use as you join your classmates in a local volunteer project. Donate your time to develop recycling efforts in Costa Rica, work with The Red Cross in Paris, or teach underprivileged children in Ecuador. Whatever your service interests may be, we have a program for you. There is no language skill or experience required – all you need is a willingness to help others.
Learn a language by living it
Beyond your classroom learning and volunteer work, EF has organized a schedule of social, cultural and sports activities sure to keep you busy. Whether you are visiting a famous cathedral, shopping at an outdoor market or playing in an EF soccer tournament your language skills will continue to improve throughout your stay.
