Mission Statement:

We are proud to be an open-admissions facility that accepts every animal who arrives at our door, regardless of health, age, breed or temperament. Each year we are a refuge for 4,000 animals in need.

Events:

Adoption events are held several times a month, weekly in the summertime. Fundraising events are held 3 times a year.

Additional Information:

The mission of the Española Valley Humane Society is to help animals by engaging the hearts, hands, and minds of our community. We are an open admission organization.

We could not do this work without volunteers. Our volunteers assist with foster care, provide mental and physical stimulation to animals at the shelter, and help those that have been mistreated learn to trust again.
