We believe that every child should be given a chance to be successful. We further believe that community volunteers, working as academic mentors and tutors, together with the school districts will allow children struggling in school the opportunity to improve academically and become successful lifelong learners. It is our mission to give every child a chance!

• We will continue our efforts to reach and serve youth who need us most. We believe all youth can learn and grow academically,
socially and emotionally in order to achieve at their highest potential.
Program History:
Opening in 1997 with one mentor/tutor site and serving 13 children, we now operate 44 locations serving nearly 3,000 children and have grown to offer 8 unique programs. We have partnerships with 4 school districts and serve the communities of Manteca, Lathrop, Ripon, Escalon, French Camp, Weston Ranch (Stockton), and Banta. We have expanded from our beginning with 13 vounteers to over 350 annually. All programs are offered at no cost.
Events:
Annual Bowl-a-thon - last Saturday in February of each year
A Night of Kings & Queens -last Saturday in September
Bob Camden Essay Contest - Each year during the months of April and May
Service Challenge Scholarships
