Mission Statement:
IMANI HOUSE is an award winning tax-exempt non-proft know for its free innovative youth and family support services. Our mission is to assist low-income youth, families and immigrants to create viable neighborhoods where residents are decision makers who take responsibility for the improvement of their lives and surroundings.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
IMANI HOUSE believes strongly in the strength of community; that everyone can succeed if only they are motivated and have access to the appropriate skills, information and opportunities.
Program History:
For over 25 years IMANI HOUSE has worked in grassroots communities in Brooklyn, New York and Liberia, West Africa to foster this process. Our youth and family support programs strive to alleviate poverty, support sustainable development, and help residents become decision makers who take responsibility for improving their lives and surroundings.
