Additional Information:

Junior Achievement is currently looking for volunteers to visit classrooms in DeForest, Jefferson, Lake Mills, Madison, McFarland, Middleton, Oregon, Sun Prairie, Verona and Waunakee. JA provides you with all materials to teach and personal training to successfully facilitate hands-on activities that are fun and interactive. Volunteers need only to make a commitment to attend one 60 minute training session and then facilitate the curriculum over five to seven 30- to 45-minute classroom sessions.

Last year, JA reached 6,000 students in Dane County. This year, JA has requests for more than 400 classrooms or after-school sites and expects to reach 8,000 Dane County students, fulfilling the group's mission to "inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy."
