In 1985, the name was changed to the Mid America Chapter and in 1990, the Chapter merged with the Eastern Kansas Chapter. In 2010, the remaining counties of Kansas were consolidated with the Mid America Chapter. The Chapter, including the Ozark, St. Joseph and Wichita branches, currently serves 159 counties in Kansas and western Missouri, offers programs and services to over 40,000 individuals and annually raises nearly $3.5 million to create a world free of MS.
