Mission Statement:
Nauticus inspires and educates with engaging and interactive experiences that celebrate our connection with today's maritime world. Nauticus is a contemporary museum that uses the natural setting of Norfolk's harbor to showcase global maritime commerce and the world's largest Navy.

Nauticus has a wide variety of volunteer and internship opportunities available for:

Whether you're teaching a guest about the history of Battleship Wisconsin, showing a child how to touch a horseshoe crab, helping someone find the perfect souvenir, or providing support to our office staff, you will be an invaluable part of our crew!
All volunteers must submit a volunteer application, successfully complete an interview and background check, and attend volunteer orientation prior to their service.
