Mission Statement:
To save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures.
Program History:
The North Florida Affiliate was created after the first Komen North Florida Race for the Cure was held at Jacksonville Beach in 1994. Today, we cover five counties with the help of two full-time staff, one part-time staff, a board of directors and over 700 volunteers.
