Program History:
In 1991 a small band of volunteers started Pet Network with the mission of saving lives of at-risk pets. Volunteers are still the heart and soul of our organization, and are now reinforced by a staff of dedicated professionals and a state of the art facility.
Pet Network is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in the heart of Incline Village serving Western Nevada and the Lake Tahoe area. We take a community approach to rescuing and placing unwanted animals as well as providing a wide variety of programs to serve people and their pets.
As a private, non-profit animal rescue organization we depend on the generous donations of our community to continue our life-saving work.
Additional Information:
Volunteers are extra-special people! They are people who work from the heart, giving of their time, energy, and talents to help make the world a better place.
At Pet Network, volunteers are crucial to the success of our organization and we could not accomplish our mission without them! Our volunteers range from students to seniors, and they bring a wide variety of talents and skills to their tasks.
We are often moved by the community’s devotion to pets. It is even more amazing when children step forward to show their commitment. In celebration of the children who are passionate about pets and their rescue we have created the Pet Network P.A.K. (Pets Assisted by Kids) program is a chance for children to become part of the Pet Network family. Please call 775-832-4404 x114 today and ask for more information regarding P.A.K.
