Additional Information:
Volunteers are a vital part of our ability to provide services and assistance to our clients! Volunteer opportunities are available at the Cluster Outreach Center and at our community meal sites.
Our Food Pantry provides fresh food, nonperishable items, and grocery items to local families. We need volunteers to
- receive donations,
- sort the food onto the appropriate shelves,
- pack food bags for our clients,
- and pass out food bags on distribution days.
Our Clothes Closet provides clothing, coats, school uniforms, household items and sometimes furniture to families in Pottstown. We need volunteers to help
- receive donations,
- sort clothing and household goods into the correct department,
- hang clothes,
- and generally organize the 'Closet'.
We can use volunteers from 8:30 am to 1pm on specific days--please schedule an interview to find out more and arrange a volunteer opportunity that fits your schedule. Your interview must be pre-arranged. Unfortunately we cannot accept drop-ins.
