RWC'S RACERS SHARE THEIR PERSONAL QUICK TIPS ON WINNING IN LIFE, LEARNED WHILE NEGOTIATING LIFE'S POTHOLES AND BARRICADES WHILE BUILDING THEIR CAREERS, WHICH ARE APPLICABLE TO ALL CHILDREN AND TEENS REGARDLESS OF RACE, CREED OR CULTURAL BACKGROUND: LEARN THE ART OF TEAMWORK, FIND A MENTOR, STUDY, EXPLORE YOUR TALENT, BE FLEXIBLE WITH DREAMS AND GOALS, AND MORE. RACERS BELIEVE THAT LIFE IS NOT ALL A BOWL OF CHERRIES OR A GALLON OF FUEL, AND THAT CHILDREN AND TEENS SHOULD BE ARMED WITH LIFE'S PRACTICALITIES.
Program History:
RACERS WHO CARE, INC. WAS FORMED AND BEGAN EVENTS AND RACER PRESENTATIONS IN 1993. SINCE THEN, RACERS HAVE INSPIRED AND CHALLENGED THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN AND TEENS THROUGHOUT THE U.S. AND IN CANADA. RACERS WHO CARE ALSO HAS A SECOND LARGE PROJECT, ITS PROPOSED NATIONAL CHILD'S DAY CELEBRATION.
Events:
RACERS WHO CARE'S RACER PRESENTATIONS ARE SET UP ON AN ONGOING PRESENTATION, AS ITS RACERS HAVE TIME COME UP IN THEIR SCHEDULES, THEREFORE, THERE IS NO SET SCHEDULE ANY LENGTH AHEAD OF TIME. RWC'S NATIONAL CHILD'S DAY CELEBRATION WILL BE LAUNCHED WHEN PARTNERS AND FUNDING IS SECURED - RWC INTENDS FOR IT TO BE AN ONGOING, ANNUAL, EVENT IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.
Additional Information:
RWC HAS IMMEDIATE VOLUNTEER OPENINGS FOR COORDINATORS TO WORK DIRECTLY WITH RACERS, TO SET UP AND COORDINATE THEIR PRESENTATIONS IN THE CITIES LISTED, AND IN NEW CITIES; ADDITIONALLY, TO RECRUIT NEW RACERS TO WORK WITH US.
ADDITIONALLY, WE WOULD LIKE TO SHARE THE FUN WITH MARKETERS AND FUNDRAISERS. WE WOULD BE ABLE TO EXTEND OUR OUTREACH WITH FULLTIME PERSONNEL.
RWC IS FORMING A WORKING MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE, THAT WOULD BE VIRTUAL; MEMBERS WOULD WORK TOEGETHER VIA THE INTERNET. MEMBERS WOULD FORM SUBCOMMITTEES TO WORK ON SPECIFIC PROJECTS SUCH AS VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT, FUNDRAISING, FORMING A COMMITTEE OF 300, ETC.
RWC IS ALSO SEEKING A PERSON WITH MANAGEMENT SKILLS, PREFERABLY WHO LIVES IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, WHO WOULD LIKE TO TAKE ON SIGNIFICANT RESPONSIBILITY, AS SECOND-IN-COMMAND, OR VICE PRESIDENT, OF THE ORGANIZATION.
RWC IS ADDITIONALLY SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED EVENT MANAGER, ALSO WHO PREFERABLY LIVES IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, WHO WOULD LIKE TO TAKE ON PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE NATIONAL CHILD'S DAY CELEBRATION.
RWC IS FURTHER SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED MANAGER, PREFERABLY WHO HAS MOTORSPORTS EXPERIENCE, WHO WOULD LIKE TO TAKE ON PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE RACER PRESENTATION PROGRAM.
