Program History:
RIM is an interfaith, community-based organization that was founded in 1986.
RIM’s volunteers bring clients into relationships with their communities. Programs include:
•community-based resettlement of asylum seekers and refugees
•job preparation through English and computer classes
•Spiritual Care Givers who provide chaplaincy services to immigrant detainees.
•Case Management: All programs rest upon a strong Case Management plan, offering "new life and hope to uprooted people". As one client summed it up, "You took me from nowhere to somewhere."
Events Committee for planning special fund raisers and gatherings.
Events:
International Dinner ever fall and International Concert every Spring. This year's International Concert will be held on May 5, 2010 at Old South Church in downtown Boston.
