River Cleanup at Big Rock in Santee Road Santee

This month the San Diego River Park Foundation’s Clean and green team will focus on the part of the river located near Big Rock Road and Mission Gorge in Santee. Volunteer teams have documented trash and debris in the fragile river habitat as a result of illegal dumping and debris from the 52-freeway. Join the community and the team to create a better and cleaner future for our river and our neighborhood. Volunteers will meet in the field next to the Santee Equestrian center at 7980 Mission Gorge Rd Make sure to dress for working outdoors including closed shoes (no sandals please!) a hat and sunscreen are also highly recommended, we will have all tools and supplies.
