Program History:

On November 15, 2006, Williams unexpectedly became vision-impaired, which was a devastating time in her life that occurred after being a single mother who had just finished raising three children, now adults. After her pity party, Ohio Bureau of Services for the Visually Impaired (BSVI) referred her to WrightChoice, and Dress for Success Columbus. After my suiting, she was employed at First link, which is now Hands On Central Ohio.

Since 2007, Williams have been a recipient/advocate for Dress for Success Columbus and in 2010 was nominated as Dress for Success Columbus’s first “Woman of Power” which she considered to be an honor. In addition, on May 4, 2013, she graduated from Ohio Dominican University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and purchased her dream home. Williams says she owes her success to God, Dress for Success Columbus, WrightChoice, and Hands On Central Ohio, which is why she is reaching out with still another dream to give back to the community by continuing to publish the magazine “EnVision Proven Success” to allow other disadvantaged women in our community to know all your dreams are reachable.
Williams says, " I am more than a statistic, I have an EnVision Proven Success story because diverse women "don't look like what we've been through"!
Can you imagine disadvantaged women never having hope of living successful lives? We can, and became impassioned to form EnVision Proven Success, a non-profit organization that provides a forum to share their struggles, successes, and to strengthen the resources that help women realize their importance.

The mission was born in 2013 when CEO/President of EnVision Proven Success, McQuetta Williams and a team of dedicated volunteers created a community-outreach publication called “EnVision Proven Success” and truly grateful to Grange Insurance Company for printing our 2014/2015 editions of “EnVision Proven Success.

‘EnVision Proven Success’ professionally printed magazine shares the stories of women who have regained their dignity and moved forward in a way they previously thought not possible. Their candor allows readers to understand the challenges disadvantaged women face, and how they overcome beautifully with the help of the EnVision Proven Success sisterhood. Our women have achieved great accomplishments and overcome daunting barriers unimagined by most.

That first publication shared success stories of Dress for Success Columbus recipients and was so well received by the community that Ms. Williams launched a non-profit community-based advocacy organization of the same name. EnVision Proven Success mission is to provide knowledge and resources that empower women to improve their quality of life.

Our publication “EnVision Proven Success” is the first and only publication tool that moves challenge women towards self sufficiency by addressing their social and economic needs in relation to work, home and community. The publication has help change women perception of what they can achieve, and has empowered over 2000 women in our community to accomplish their goals.

The magazine is the first and only publication of its kind to target women who are facing challenges and has offered hope and resource information to more than 2,000 women in Central Ohio.

In addition to publishing an annual magazine aimed at empowering women with need, we collaborate with other non-profit and private companies to offer an array of retention workshops that provide support, practical information, inspiration, referrals and resources to assist women to achieve self- defined success in their lives, careers, familial, and in our community.

Our greatest goal is to empower women that have overcome challenges so they can give back to the community by sharing their journey of success and becoming economically self-sufficient.

EnVision Proven Success’ retention workshops provide support, practical information, inspiration, referrals and resources to assist women to achieve self- defined success in their lives, careers, familial, and in our community.
