Tuition:
Program Fee: $5,850. The program fee includes college credit, accommodations, comprehensive medical/travel insurance, on-site staff, orientation, airport welcome and transfer, mobile phone, and cultural excursions in Venice, Veneto, Florence, Milan and Rome.
Financial Aid:
Partial scholarships available to qualified students.
Curriculum:
This program is intended for motivated secondary students and graduates interested in painting, drawing, printmaking, graphic design, photography, artist book, art history, and Italian language. Students enroll in Art History adn studio art courses. The curriculum is supplemented with field trips to museums, art galleries, rare collections, book archives, and architecturally significant sights in Venice, the Veneto region, Florence, Rome and Milan. The entire program is conducted in ENGLISH.
Setting:
This program is hosted by the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica, a leading visual arts and graphic design academy located in Venice, Italy. The Scuola's international faculty are renowned artists who have lived, studied, worked, and exhibited in countries throughout Europe and around the world. Venice has long been considered a worldwide center for the arts with countless architectural and artistic wonders. It is the ideal place to spend an academic year studying the arts. And, its central location allows for easy access to visit other cities in Italy as well as Europe.

Program Information

Admissions is open to high school students and recent graduates. To apply, students must submit a KEI Application Form, official transcripts, portfolio (if available) and personal statement, and schedule a telephone interview with a KEI Program Manager. Students applications a re reviewed on a rolling basis (first come, first served).

Knowledge Exchange Institute was established in 1997 to promote international education, professional development and cultural exchange through specialized study and intern abroad programs. KEI offers study, intern and research abroad programs in fifteen locations throughout Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe and South America. KEI programs are open to university and secondary level students enrolled in educational institutions in the United States.
