Notes:
On a personal note, I believe that education is the key to obtaining the services that each and every child is entitled to through the Laws that are already in place. I am passionate about educating parents in these Laws, helping them interpret tests and evaluations and organizing them so that they can monitor their child's progress, or lack thereof, and be prepared to present that information to obtain services when necessary.

Through my experience I have learned that identification is important but advocating for your child is the single most important component in the PROCESS. Our children are our most precious resource and are entitled to an appropriate education which meets their individual needs.

Areas of Focus

: “We were amazed at how well our meeting went. Not only did we receive the services we were seeking for our son, but we also received services for his twin. We followed all of your recommendations and the meeting went so smoothly that one of the committee members even commented about how organized we were having all our information in the binder, she said, we knew you really meant business.”

“You will not believe it, we were able to get all the services for our son that he needed by presenting all the information and research we had discussed with you. We have been trying for so many years to get through to the committee and we have finally been able to put a plan in place that will meet his needs. We are so excited!”

“We went into the meeting feeling confident after having met with you and having concrete recommendations for services that would meet our son's needs. We presented our information and what we would like to see in the way of services based upon your recommendations and those of the other professionals who evaluated our son and made specific recommendations. We were astounded that the committee was agreeable; we just wish we had met you sooner!
