Name: Seacoast Christian Academy |
||||
Seacoast Christian attempts to provide a solid educational foundation, built on the principles of the Bible. In order to promote a positive learning environment for every student, we will consider the following: 1. The student should have a desire and a positive attitude about attending Seacoast Christian Academy. A cooperative outlook towards the school fosters a more successful educational atmosphere. 2. Parental involvement improves opportunities for student success: spiritually, academically, and socially. Parents can assist the school and the students by supporting school/teacher expectations, the programs and fundraisers, and following the rules/policies as outlined in the handbook. Parental support of staff and administration is a vital element to our success with each student. |
3. In addition to the application, the parents will submit copies of the student's report card for the last two years, a discipline history, standardized test scores, and psychological testing and a current Individualized Educational Plan (I.E.P.), if applicable. A detailed list of the necessary documentation is included in the application. 4. ADMISSION TESTING will be conducted to assess the student's educational level and his/her ability to assimilate with the school's curriculum and expectations. The cost for this service is $30.00. The student will be tested according to the grade level he or she has just completed in reading and math. If a student has completed Algebra I, they are not required to complete the math test. High school transcripts, and FCAT and/or other standardized test results are used to evaluate students entering grades 10-12. |
