Summer Sessions:

Under the encouraging guidance of our talented DigiPen Academy teaching staff, students learn, create and collaborate in hands-on projects in video game programming, art, animation, game design, engineering, as well as music and sound design.

Students of DigiPen Academy gain more than a textbook understanding of their favorite subjects -- they put knowledge into practice through individual creative projects like a video game, short animation, or programmed robot. By promoting teamwork and personal expression while reinforcing core academic subjects like math, physics, art and writing, students learn valuable STEM-related skills.

As a global leader in technology education, DigiPen will help your student connect classroom concepts with real-world challenges and develop the values of lifelong learning and academic excellence as they explore a range of careers in technology.

We offer over 50 unique workshops and studios. In both DigiPen Academy Workshops and Studios, students will learn new concepts and skills through project-based development. DigiPen Academy Workshops deliver a more fundamental approach to students new to the subject matter. DigiPen Academy Studios are intended for those with previous experience in the given subject and provide a more open-ended and challenging approach to learning more nuanced and particular skills. Students attending DigiPen Academy Summer Workshops or Studios not only have fun, but also enhance their critical thinking skills while improving their knowledge of core subjects like math and physics, and exciting their interest in the concepts underlying modern technology.
There are multiple sessions offered for each age range.

DigiPen Academy also offers a four week Pre-College Program designed for high-achieving students who have completed their sophomore, junior, or senior year of high school and are interested in exploring careers in the video game industry.

Unable to attend an on-site workshop? DigiPen Academy also offers Online Courses for students aged 13-18, including 30-hour Online Workshops and 90-hour Online Academies in the areas of Game Design, Video Game Programming, and Art and Animation.
