Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Our mission is to develop caring and responsible global citizens striving to achieve their full potential through rigorous academic, social and spiritual programs in an inquiry based, inspiring environment that supports the growth of the whole child as a lifelong learner.
School History:
Founded in 1994, the International Children’s Academy (ICA) has been educating students for over 20 years. As a fully accredited International Baccalaureate School, our goal is to provide a holistic educational program that encourages and supports children to be spiritually attuned, socially proficient and emotionally secure while ensuring a challenging scholastic environment that prepares our students to transition successfully into their higher educational paths.
ICA serves children from the age of 2 up through the 1st grade and is keenly focused on supporting every facet of childhood development. Our faculty teaches a dual language curriculum in multiple ways including small group, individual, teacher-directed and student -centered activities.
Notes/School Information:
The International Children's Academy's (ICA) combination of spiritual focused Torah studies coupled with the highest academic standards is unmatched. We focus on providing a personalized educational option where from the earliest ages we grow students with strong world views yet teach them to be sensitive to others understanding each person is special and valued. We provide a safe, solid and caring base for intellectual and academic growth and see that our students become enthusiastic learners in this environment.
Our school is a true community of parents and students that support each other and have a desire to bring sharing and openness to the local community and the world at large.
ICA is a Small Learning Community which puts students in more visible roles in the classroom, improves the school climate creating closer student/teacher relationships allowing for a more personalized educational experience.
