Additional Information

Description:

The Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention provides you and your students with unprecedented access to world-class inventors, entrepreneurs, and visionaries, plus dynamic exhibits and hands-on learning that fuel each student's thirst for knowledge. Students participating in Cade Museum field trips will receive the following:
+ Expert instruction in STEAM
+ Fun and interactive hands-on labs and experiments
+ Exposure to a "real" lab setting and equipment
+ Cade Lab loot bag with "make and takes"
Through hands-on lab projects and conceptual immersion with our exhibits, your students will be inspired to think like inventors as they apply these core science concepts:
Pillars of Science - Exploring core content that correlates with CPALMS and NGSS Standards.
Invention - Learning through the lens of invention and innovation, while exploring the lives of visionaries whose inventions have changed our world and continue to improve it.
Exploration - Sparking creativity through hands-on projects and lasting "Make & Takes."
Your health and safety are our top priority. Additionally, we are proud to partner with Violet Defense, Orlando-based creators of patented, ultraviolet disinfectant devices that eliminate more than 99% of bacteria and viruses. Violet Defense's mobile ultraviolet disinfection units, which are also used by hospitals, will be used before and after each guided tour. This allows you to experience our Sweat Solution exhibit, Fab Lab, Creativity Lab, Gallery West, and Petty Family Gallery with the knowledge that this state-of-the-art technology brings a clinical-level of disinfection into the museum. Learn more about this important technology at cademuseum.org/safety. We ask that visitors comply with local and state guidelines. We provide sanitation stations throughout the museum with hand sanitizer and our staff members clean touch points regularly.
